 Happy Birthday dear Archita! Today's my friend's birthday! Her name is Archita. Listen to this true story about Archita and me. One day, Shripradhaa and I went to the terrace to play. There were two girls in the opposite house. We played ball with them that day. This happened for few days and soon we came to know each other. The big girl's name was Archita and her little sister's name was Haritha. We became friends and started playing. We always threw the ball from me to her. We must be careful! Or the ball may fall down. We'd have to keep on going down and then come back up to the terrace if that ball falls. Shripradhaa always throws the ball down! Archita or Haritha will have to go down and get the ball if it falls in their apartment. Me or appa will have to go and get the ball if it falls in our apartment. We'd always play from 5pm to 7:30pm!   250 years ago, a boy was born in Germany. His name was Beethoven. His grandfather and father were musicians. Beethoven became deaf when he grew older. He has written many famous songs and the most famous song called 'Fur Elise' was composed when he was deaf. Today is Beethoven's 250th birthday. (Click on the link below. 🙏🙏Hello... Happy kaarthigai Deepam... This year, kaarthigai Deepam is coming on Monday. We celebrate kaarthigai Deepam to fight all bad thoughts. On kaarthigai Deepam, we get up early in the morning, have a hair bath, pray to god and celebrate the festival. Evening, we light lamps, pray to god and celebrate. We light "Kutthu Vilakugal" and "Agal Vilakugal". We then eat sweets made by our mom. The sweets are made with "Aval" and "Pori". I love kaarthigai Deepam!!🙏🙏

 This is a very important story from the Bhagavatam... Svayambhuvamanu had a daughter, who was Devahuti, and Devahuti married Kardama who was a sage. Devahuti gave birth to a boy called Kapila. He was a partial incarnation of God. One day, Kardama went out for tapas. Kapila's mother asked, "As you are god himself, please tell me, how could I come out of this worldly attachment release?" Kapila replied, "Mother, there are three gunas, Satva gunam, Tamo gunam and Rajo gunam. Satva gunam is good, Tamo gunam is lazy and Rajo gunam is anger. We should always follow Satva gunam. We should always have devotion towards god. We should have Bhakthi towards god. We should always think of God. We should see god in everyone.  Then, we realise the Supreme being, Lord Vishnu."  Actually I didn't understand this chapter. So I asked my mom and she explained. Hi, I am reading a Bhagavatam book. I'd like to share with you some of the stories from Bhagavatam.  Parikshit was the son of Abimanyu. Parikshit became the king. One day, Parikshit went hunting and saw a sage meditating. He asked him if he wanted some fruits and flowers. But the sage did not reply. So, Parikshit put a dead snake around the sage's neck and left. The sage's son was very angry to see a dead snake around his father's neck. He said, "Who ever has put this dead snake around my father's neck will be bitten by the snake Takshaka and will die in a week." The sage immediately opened his eyes and said to his son, "You fool! Whom you've cursed is the great king Parikshit who took care of our country very well. Who will do a job like that?" Then, king Parikshit heard about the curse and was very sad. Everybody gathered around him. A wise Rishi called Shukadeva passed by and saw this. He then told the story of the Bhagavata.

 Hi! Today I went to my grandparents' house. I'm still there! Their golu was bigger than everything! For the park they had kept all of my mother's old toys and prizes. My thatha got the cycle ready for tomorrow's Ayuda Pooja. Shripradhaa did nothing but swinged all day on the bamboo swing. And you know something, my thatha kept the same Tin Tin! Happy Navratri!!🙏🙏

 This year we are having a safe Navratri due to the Corona. Too boring know. No one invites us and we also invite nobody. Only the yummy sundals and watching the dolls make us relaxed and happy. The new normal is boring. Oh! And I forgot to share something with you. Today is Mahalakshmi's 2nd day. Now, I have a question. Do you all like this year's Navratri? Well, ok to me. But it's really, really special on Saraswati Puja and on Vijayadashmi this year for me! So exciting! You'll know why on those days. Eeeeeek! I can't wait!! Happy Navratri!!!!

Hi! Today is Navaratri's 2nd day. A lot to know about Navaratri! The first three days of Navratri belong to Durga devi. Next Lakshmi and finally Saraswati. The last two days are Saraswathi pooja and Vijaydashmi.  Today, we made black eyed beans sundal and yesterday we made special maav. We sang a lot of songs like Aigiri Nandini, Vara veena, Bavani shankari, Karunai deivame and Shyamale meenakshi. At the end of the day, we take a special aarthi. Yesterday I did it with amma and today I did it with patti. I took the aarthi first and Shripradhaa took the aarthi second. Happy Navratri!!🙏🙏

 Happy Navratri! Navratri is the day when we assemble the dolls of gods. Today is the day when we get our stairs ready and we'll keep our dolls on the stairs. My favourite doll is the Tanjavur bommai or the Tallai atti bommai. My father and mother took care of the stairs and the dolls which are on them and I got the park ready. My park has a café and a little girl inside it watching the beautiful flowers bloom. A boy is standing there too. Next to it is a small zoo. A car is parked in front of it and Tin Tin watched the animals. Behind is a simple house and next to it is a Lego house. Behind, a gopuram and a small Srinivasa in front of it. Two girls praying to God and next to it is another simple house. And finally, this part by my mom. She kept an ever silver cup upside down and she put artificial grass on it. She kept lord Srinivasa on it. And a finishing touch by my dad. He connected three lights to two plug points. And when he switched the lights on, what a beautiful Golu!! Hap...

Music is a joyful feeling. Music is never sad, I mean by the tune, not the lyrics. You shouldn't enjoy music looking at the pictures and lyrics. You enjoy the tune.  Music is treasure. And if we hear music, we'll have pleasure. Music is of different types - Pop, classics, rock and melody. My favorites are classics and pop. I like rock music to a little extent.  Sometimes music makes us think a lot, makes us cry in sadness,makes us dance and makes us happy too. Music is always free. It is always the winner.  I like to play the Violin. Sarali and Jantai Varisaigal are some of my favorite classics.  Western music is good too.  "Can't stop the feeling" is a song from the movie "Trolls" which is pop and western music. "Roar" by Katy Perry is just an album. It's western and pop.  Kannanae Kannae is a song from the Tamil movie "Viswasam" and is film music and gives importance to Raga.  Happy one-month birthday baby! I'm taking care of a baby. I make it happy by sharing poems and stories. It's age is 0 (one month). It changes my mind, gives a lot of work to my hands and makes me dream a lot.   It is a Bore Chaser. In this lockdown it helps me refresh my mind. Since I can't go outside this one makes the inside like an outside. It is like a mind attractor. It loves me a lot and I love it too. You know that we're stuck in this lockdown. So we have online classes.  June 8th was our 3rd grade opening day. I couldn't wait to meet my teachers and friends! But I just had to turn my video on, sit quietly in one place and keep my mic muted. The others were happy unmuting their mics, shouting loud. But as days passed by, things got calm and I got the hang of these online classes.  We have classes in Microsoft Teams, which is an app. It is hard to concentrate with my younger sister, as she always shouts, sits on my lap, sends messages in the Activity or Teams corner.  The fun part is we get to change our backgrounds. Some teachers keep quizzes online, send slides and even record classes.  I feel happy because I'm with my parents but sad too, as I can't meet my friends, teachers and I can't play with my friends in our playground. I miss the sound of our school bell.  We  used to share snacks  and lunch at school but not now, 'cause it's online. We don...

W e all dream sometimes. But I dream all the time. What are your dreams?  But before that, I'll tell you my dreams! When ever I dream, I run around, sit in one place or lie on the the bed. If I was in my grandparents' house, I'd be swinging.  You know what I dream of? I'll dream of poems and stories for this Blog, I'll imagine of a rainbow and I'll slide down it, I'll imagine of my own cartoon series, or about how I was created, how I got my nose, eyes face and other non-fiction things.  I always dream. My mom thinks I'm idle dreaming. But I dream of useful things. Dreaming is my favourite thing to do. I can't stop dreaming, it's really true! It's my favourite thing to do. Ok, it's time for you!
