Srinivasa Ramanujan is a famous mathamatician who's birthday is today. He was born in Erode, Tamil Nadu. Let's all celebrate his birthday by doing some nice maths!!

Nothing's more fun!

My favourite subject math,

Is the only path 

Without maths,

Nothing's gonna happen so fast!

Let's say happy birthday,

To the math leader,

Let's all see,

Who are the math speedsters!!

I see math in you,

And I see math in me,

Math is the only thing,

In all we can see!

The size of you is math,

Number of letters are math,

Math up 

And 

Math down,

Math is all over the town!

The time is also math,

Every word contains math,

Math is very easy to spot,

Math is always caught!

If you know math,

That's enough

Math is always never tough!

I love maths,

It is like my guru 

Math is my god,

And when I do maths I never say, boo hoo!

Let's all have fun doing maths 

Math is our only path!

    Your poem on maths is good. No magic involved in maths. Makes Love as addition subtract anger or hatred from other, you get a sum as Happiness which can be multiplied by sharing among others and the whole world will be full of Happiness and joy. Happiness is to be multiplied. Ver good.

Long Lost Sleep

  After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

  What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

  Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
