Kaarthigai Deepam


🙏🙏Hello... Happy kaarthigai Deepam...

This year, kaarthigai Deepam is coming on Monday.

We celebrate kaarthigai Deepam to fight all bad thoughts.

On kaarthigai Deepam, we get up early in the morning, have a hair bath, pray to god and celebrate the festival.

Evening, we light lamps, pray to god and celebrate.

We light "Kutthu Vilakugal" and "Agal Vilakugal".

We then eat sweets made by our mom.

The sweets are made with "Aval" and "Pori".

I love kaarthigai Deepam!!🙏🙏

    I too enjoy the Deepam Day watching the deepam kept in a line or farming a design gives pleasure. Your house arrangements of vilakku are so beautiful. Keep enjoying eat aval pori enjoy the festival shriyandhaa.

  After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself.   What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Stars

  Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
