GSB - Chapter 15 & 16 - Back to School, All not feeling Cool & Missing Much Time

Back to School, All not feeling Cool

Wednesday had arrived, and Samhitha’s school started. Back to school, all not cool. We all became restless. We didn’t want to miss our GSB discussions. We wanted to talk. Samhitha and I, having dozens of classes, how are we going to talk? I have reached my higher classes and I was left with nothing but homework. Homework, homework, homework. But still there was very little time for us to talk. We never saved it, we spent it! So we were never idle. But that’s a good thing, right? So my mother and father, her mother and father, all put to rest. We never asked them what to do! We were left with a chatty corner, a classy corner, a school corner, and, of course, School is divided into 2 parts. Homework, and school.

                                   Missing much Time

So, it was, really true. We were never idle. But we did miss a lot of time in chatting. I kept on updating the notes, but Samhitha decided not to write anything, as Saketh always interfered in the GSB stuff. So we also missed writing, and also, we missed chatting. Samhitha was stuck with her keyboard class confusions, and of course, I was stuck with my school. But we did talk sometime, but only about keyboard. We only talk about keyboard, about the upcoming lessons, or about the doubts Samhitha’s mind is stuck to. And also, being a teacher is very hard. I had to wait and wait and wait and wait till Samhitha gets the song. So will we really FORGET about GSB? Will we waste all the efforts and tasks we took?

                                What’s the ending result?

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Behind The Mask

Behind the clouds  Is the hidden sky, so far, Behind the plasters, A nasty scar, Behind the curtains,  Are bright windows  But behind a mask - It is not for show. Not until you tumble into the trap,  Stay trapped there, in disguised gloom  Without realising it - And then go deeper and deeper  To discover what really looms. Then realisation strikes - How they behaved, how they feigned The hidden meaning behind every wave  You've found it. And the rage, You try to stifle it with much courage, But instead, burn down the page, And whoops - that leads you to your cage. But in the end, the mask is gone - To reveal an atrocity, so from it begone Don't explain, on its own will it dawn - Upon others, just the way it did on you - Ignore their every scorn. Just wait for their mask to be openly torn.

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
