Once upon a time, you were with me
You sang some songs about land and sea.
You helped me spread my wings out wide,
Flap them hard and reach the sky.
But where are you now?
Is this hide and seek?
I have searched everywhere,
But in this game I am weak.
The times when you told me all stories,
About the thieves, princes and fairies.
You conquered my heart with your power,
You helped me bloom into a flower.
But where have you gone,
Into the unknown?
Now that you've disappeared,
The World's lost its true tone.
May this be a formal letter,
To my dear Great Grandmother,
Wherever you are now,
I'll make sure we'll always love each other.
