Unicorns

Everyone loves unicorns. Some think they have a horn, some think they have magical powers, some think they have wings... Oh my god, my list is endless. Anyways, what are these mysterious creatures that seem to attract just EVERYONE?

Long long ago, so long ago, unicorns first appeared in the Mesopotamian artworks, and most people believe that they were mythological characters of India and China. The Greeks have discripted it with one horn and wings, though the  wings are exceptional. This discovery was made by a historian called Ctesias.

Are you a unicorn believer? I am! Because I have proof. Some archeologists have found fossils of unicorns - or had found - or are finding? I don't know. But they are real.

Most unicorns are found in China, India, Africa, the Middle East and USA.

Unicorns appear different to all of us - one colour to one and another colour to another. But they're very rare - so it's hard to spot them.

But then, guess what, unicorns aren't what I have in mind. They are just simply white with a coloured Mane and tail, and with a simple magicless horn.

The unicorns actually went extinct 1,00,000 years ago, which is so sad! But I know there are some out there.

Some people tell us that unicorns don't exist, which is actually right, because they are extinct!

Or they probably really don't exist, because there is an other animal very much similiar to a unicorn. So maybe unicorns don't exist after all...

But we still haven't found out! I'm waiting for the future - I am going to become an animal investigator! And I'll collect enough proof to prove to you that unicorns are real!!

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Behind The Mask

Behind the clouds  Is the hidden sky, so far, Behind the plasters, A nasty scar, Behind the curtains,  Are bright windows  But behind a mask - It is not for show. Not until you tumble into the trap,  Stay trapped there, in disguised gloom  Without realising it - And then go deeper and deeper  To discover what really looms. Then realisation strikes - How they behaved, how they feigned The hidden meaning behind every wave  You've found it. And the rage, You try to stifle it with much courage, But instead, burn down the page, And whoops - that leads you to your cage. But in the end, the mask is gone - To reveal an atrocity, so from it begone Don't explain, on its own will it dawn - Upon others, just the way it did on you - Ignore their every scorn. Just wait for their mask to be openly torn.

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
