The New Year

Are you all ready to welcome the New Year?

The former year was fully abandoned by Corona, and when the year was at its end, the others thought that 2021 would be the same as the old years, the ones before 2020.

But 2021 was even worse. 2020 corona started from March, atleast there were 2 months to spend without Corona's involvement. As it started on 2020 March, it continued till the end of the new year, 2021. Hopefully, this silly virus will leave our land and restore peacefulness.

Talking about the new year, why don't we read something about the New Year?

The New Year will be here soon,

We have to dress decently,

And clean up the messes,

Time to feel happy!

But oh dear!

There's still one more fear,

Corona Monster is still here!

Let's wash, wash, wash,

Wash our hands!

Maintain, maintain,

Social distancing, yeah!

To keep away the enemy,

Enemy, enemy,

We have to be good,

Hee, hee, hee!

Try to avoid roaming outside,

To prevent Corona,

When you sanitize, and wash your hands,

Corona will be far,

Away, from you!

To welcome Mr. New Year,

You have to be good, and you must cheer!

I'm sure 2022 will chase the fear,

Yes, yes,

We have corona's gear!

Happy New Year!

Do you think Corona would go away this year?

We'll, even if you don't, I do. I'm sure it will!

We need the freedom needed! Let's chase the fear!

Happy New Year!

How will the New Year be? How do you think it'll be?

Let me know in the comments.

Stay tuned in for more!

Behind The Mask

Behind the clouds  Is the hidden sky, so far, Behind the plasters, A nasty scar, Behind the curtains,  Are bright windows  But behind a mask - It is not for show. Not until you tumble into the trap,  Stay trapped there, in disguised gloom  Without realising it - And then go deeper and deeper  To discover what really looms. Then realisation strikes - How they behaved, how they feigned The hidden meaning behind every wave  You've found it. And the rage, You try to stifle it with much courage, But instead, burn down the page, And whoops - that leads you to your cage. But in the end, the mask is gone - To reveal an atrocity, so from it begone Don't explain, on its own will it dawn - Upon others, just the way it did on you - Ignore their every scorn. Just wait for their mask to be openly torn.

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

They

You know what they say, "Practice makes Perfect"?  You know how they say, "Let the past  Be the past"? You know how you feel Knowing something you're doing  Is not right, You know they're watching you ponder, You do, right? They stay around you, you meet them, see them Everyday, They can give glowing smiles, or uncanny looks Depending on the aura around you - Wherever you are, they are there  They are there everywhere. You might think you're alone, somewhere D eserted But you never are They're still there - And they are also probably the ones Who know you, better than you know  Yourself. They say confusing strings, There are lots of songs they sing, They have seen lots of things, There's something, which, to myself I'll always Think, It will either remain unanswered,  Or will be forgotten,  But I shall not think it will be addressed But nonetheless -  They cannot control  Everything you do  Even if the things they have said  Echo co...
