S Scientists - Chapter 10

At the Court - Chapter 10

Saketh and the rest of the team were in the taxi. The Air conditioner was switched on, which made everyone freeze in the taxi. "Sir kahaan jaana hai?" The driver asked. Saketh replied, "Sir it would be more easier if you could speak in English. We have to get to the minister's court before 5." Saketh said, trying to reach out to the A.C switch. "Sir, is it possible if you could switch off the Air Conditioner?" Samhitha asked, wishing they had brought jackets and stuff.

The driver immediately switched the A.C off, which made the team quite relieved.

They started their journey towards the minister's grand court.

After they reached, something made their jaws drop . . .

The gates were locked! Saketh stepped further to question the securities. "Namaste, isn't the court open for today?"

The securities replied, "Sorry Sir, the minister has gone to Shimla. He will be back after a month."

"After a month?? We can't wait for a month! I'm already freezing!" Complained Samhitha.

They sadly left for the Taj Palace again. Back at the resort, Saketh logged into the news website and checked for the latest news.

"CHENNAI CM TALKING ABOUT S TEAM" the post said. Saketh called to the others. They all peeped into the tablet screen, while Saketh played the video of the CM's speech.
"I am glad to say that the S Team has officialy found the Corona Medicine, but sadly, has failed. We have tested this Medicine on a sample man but something really bad happens. The man first grew large horns, and then he grew hooves, and at last grew a tiger face."

These words, spoken by the chief minister, made Saketh angry, but still, he controlled himself.

Clouded

Every night, I bring myself  To stare up at the sky -  But turn back home, with a frown on my face, Clouds blocking stars, showing wry.  Every morning, I peek out the window  To marvel at the sea above - But turn away, losing hope,  Cotton figures, masking what I love.  Every time I see the clouds,  I curse them, with all might,  They don't deserve to be up there,  Ruining the bright days and starry nights.  And one day, the clouds finally went away,  And I stargazed in much peace.  But suddenly, the sky felt a bit empty -  Although dotted by the stars, without fake fleece. In the mornings, the sun burnt the pavements -  And something inside me missed watching  The white shapes that merrily float past -  I didn't realise they had much meaning.  Though much couldn't be seen, they brought A wholesome feeling - that you probably can't see -  You only can, when one day,  The clouds decide t...

Eclipsed

Moon:  I shine every night  Though, once a month, I take a break  But I'm seen regularly,  And it's not a big deal.  Few stop by  To marvel at me.  But what about the others -  Can they even see? And tonight is the night  A shadow shall be cast upon me  I hope no one notices -  My brief moments without glory.  Oh, but who am I kidding?  Of course, when I'm humiliated  In the vast night sky  Just me, and an eery shadow upon me  That  That is when the humans  Choose to gaze at me.  And then, to say I am weak And I'm always overruled by  The sun, and shadows, and clouds?  That is not fair.  But the truth that the moon does not know  Is that our little downfalls  Are what define us.  They're the little things that make us  Better - Perfection isn't a thing; but realism is.  Someone who is perfect cannot be likeable - But someone with flaws has more pe...

What it really feels like, being indecisive.

Let's get started.  Pick the next line:  You mean I need to choose?  You'll do just fine -  That is NOT true -  Whatever, pick the next -  I CANNOT DECIDE .  I mean why not?  That's my flawed side.  Oh, ambiguous, are we?  Sure, just pick a line for me. Is this turning into a poem?  It better be!  Why can't you decide on one answer?  What if one is better than the next?  Don't think too much about possible blunders -  That is exactly why I fret.  You can't not have an opinion -  But that's how it is.  You should really change -  It's not my fault I'm indecisive.  Think about it, I'm used to heat, but at the moment  I can use some cool But I can survive in the Sahara if I have to But I'll suffer in cold rooms, I might even solidify  But now, the heat is a bit hard to bear  But I'm afraid, the AC might get too extreme -  ALRIGHT, I understand, it's pretty hard to ...
