S Scientists - Chapter 5

Time to feel Proud! - Chapter 5

All of them reached their lab, still sleepy. Saketh forgot the purpose of them to go there and accidently added the wrong liquids to the incomplete Corona Medicine. After a while, by 8 o' clock, all of them were quite energetic. Saketh still didn't realize that he had added the incorrect liquids. He then thought that the medicine was complete and poured the liquidy medicine into various and beautiful molds.

He then placed it inside the soloven, a machine invented by the S Team. This name was derived from Solid and Oven. He then set a timer for half an hour.

It was soon half past nine when the medicines were ready. "But they're not officially ready, we have to make the cover!" Said Saketh. Then, the 4 started preparing covers with names "Corotable - 1 dose everyday" out of foil paper. The name COROTABLE was derived from Corona and Tablet. "YES!! Finally, after 3 months, the Corona medicine has been created! Let's introduce it to the world," Said Saketh, Shripradhaa, Shreya and Samhitha all together.

But they still didn't realize that Saketh had added wrong liquids.

Saketh and his team dressed in decent clothes and left for Chennai's C.M's House. It was ten o' clock when they reached. Saketh gave a deep breath, cleared his throat and before he could ring the bell, Samhitha handed a mirror to double check if he was handsome. Saketh gave a nice smile and started giving various poses, looking at the mirror.

Shreya turned red and snatched that mirror. "Don't you know that you're actually wasting time?" Asked Shreya, frowning at Saketh. Saketh grinned and then rang the bell.

"Ding Dong! Someone's at the door. Who would come to the chief minister's house during breakfast time?" The C.M growled.

However, the C.M had to open the door. "Hmm... Someone might've come to honour me," He said, proudly. When he opened the door, he was surprised to see the S Team in front of him, with a paper bag. "They must've brought some special gift to honour me," the C.M thought, with a smile. "Oh! My dear S Team! Sad to hear that you've been placed at the lowest point," The C.M started. "I heard that you had booked a flight to Delhi! Hope things are well. Um, got anything nice for me?" "Yes, we have. We got medicine." The C.M smiled but let it down as he heard the word MEDICINE. "What? Medicine? For me? Nothing's wrong with me, why should I take bitter medicine?" The C.M asked with a crooked face.

"Not for you, for the world. To chase Corona. WE MADE THE CORONA MEDICINE! COROTABLE!!!" Saketh said with a huge smile. The C.M also wore a big smile as soon as he heard that the S Team had made the medicine.

"Congratulation, my dears. Now I have important announcements to make. Assistant! Take away the food, I'll eat later," The C.M said. Proudly, the S Team left leaving the bag of medicines.

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
