A Conversation Between a Cat & a Dog

One day, a cat walked past the road. She met a big, hairy dog. She didn't like the look of it, anyways, cats hate dogs! Here's the conversation between both of them;

Cat: Huh.... I met 6 dogs today! And this ugly one is the 7th! Why do dogs interfere in cats' life?

Dog: Well, that's the same. I'm meeting the 7th cat now! Cats are so ugly, they need toys to play with! They are useless! Cats only cause problems, but dogs clear them.

Cat: Meow! How dare you! I didn't taunt you! You were the one who started! Cats aren't useless, they are for company! Don't you know?

Dog: Oh, you think I have no knowledge? But yes, I do! I know much more than you!

Cat: Ok then, what is 92x7?

Dog: Hmm.... I don't know!

Cat: Hahahaha! You told me that you know everything! But now your struggling to answer a simple question! Hahaha!!!

Dog: Animals don't know Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division. Don't you know? Yes, you really are a kitty who doesn't know anything! NOTHING!

Cat: Meow.... Meow! That's not true.... Ask the Baker near by and he'll tell you the answer!

Dog: Hmmm.... You think he will? Ok! I'll go. And you have to come with me, and listen to the true answer. And then you'll learn atleast some!

Cat: I will.

Customers in Bakery: Hey! It's a cat and dog in the bakery! Chase them away now! Somebody! Please!

Baker: Oh, I see! It's Kitty Cat and a dog? Why would a cat be with a dog?

Cat: Sir, I have a question. Can cats and dogs do Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division?

Baker: Oh my! What a silly question! Animals can't do that little miss Kitty!

Dog: Hahaha! You earned what you needed! Hahahahaha!!!!

Cat: Meow! Meow! Mau!!!

Dog: You see! It's true!

Cat: Nope, it's not. Ask the Police!

Police Assistant: Oh! A cat and a dog roaming about in our police station? No! I don't want you two fighting here!

Police: Oh, Kitty Cat! I see you've made a new friend!

Cat: No! He's not any friend. He's my enemy! You just found the opposite. Can animals do Arithmetic Functions?

Police: Oho! What a simple question! Do you think they can? Leave this place at once! I don't want any silly willy questions in here!

Dog: You deserved it! You got it again! Hahahahaha!!!

Cat: No! He didn't give his answer! Go and ask the king. His words are never wrong! NEVER WRONG!!!

Princess: Ah! Animals! In the palace! Dad! They have no permission to!

Prince: They have no rights to!

Queen: Now you two, we must welcome all our guests..... Oh! Cats and dogs! No! I hate both of them! I HATE THEM!!!

King: Oh! It's just Kitty Cat. I see you've found a new friend! Enjoy.

Cat: Oh king, he's not my friend, he's my enemy! He's a dog! I came here not to sit back and enjoy, I came here to ask you an important question.

King: Ok, go on.

Cat: Can animals do Arithmetical Functions?

King: Oh, what type of question is this? I have your answer - They can't. They don't know how to think!

Cat: But oh, your majesty, we are able to speak english!

King: Uh..... Um... You both are special ones! You can understand english but not maths.

Dog: Hahahahahahaha!!!!!

Cat: Hmph! I have no idea but to leave!

Dog: Oh you cutie Kitty Cat! It seemed as if I didn't know anything, but now, we have found out that you know nothing! Hahahahaha!! I just can't stop laughing!

Cat: Enough droopy dog! This is all enough. I am leaving this kingdom. This king knows nothing!

Dog: Your wish! All the kings of all the kingdoms would give you the same answer. Then you'd want to leave the world!!

Cat: ........ I'm leaving......

Animals don't know Arithmetic Functions, it's true. But humans do!

  4. Super Shriyandhaa. Excellent imagination. The story goes forward with excellent imagination and forward thinking. The dog wants to dominate so too cat. But the doubting dog go to each one to a baker, to policeman and finally to the king. The king while accepting that the two animals are special and can speak. It means both had the sixth sense of a man. That means they can know Arthmetics also. What a great idea and imagination. Finally the end is superb. The cat leaving the country in grief is good. Keep writing like this. Excellent story based on logic . Whether the answer 644 or otherwise , it is not relevant. It is only give us the message that one is able to speak , he should work hard to learn other things also. When the faculty of brain gets opened many achievements will come one after another. Great writing. Keep it up.

    1. Thank you so much thatha But the cat and the dog don't have the sixth sense, both only have half of it. If they have six senses, they would know math. But they don't, so they only have half of it (5 and a half).

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
