GSB - Chapter 7 & 8 - Looking for a nice one & School Time

Looking for a nice one

First, I thought that we were looking for a password pouch. So I sent a screenshot of a password pouch to Samhitha. On it, something was written in Chinese. The doll was a little ugly. Samhitha hated it! She shouted, “We are looking for a book. Not a pouch.” I nodded. Samhitha sent a few screenshots. But I did not like them. I sent some simple and thick books. Samhitha didn’t like it. This big discussion went on till 8.30. We then felt our tummies grumble. We cut the call and sat down to eat. I was very busy thinking. Tomorrow my school was starting! I had to sleep early.

                                School Time

My school had started and I was missing talking with Samhitha. Samhitha kept on calling me, but every time she called me I was studying. And every time I called her she was attending her other classes. One day, It was the perfect time to talk we talked and talked and sent screenshots. We then planned that we shall discuss later. She sent me a few messages. I was asked to decide which was the perfect book. I told her that the book which was simple was good. Samhitha disagreed. “So why did you ask me to decide?” I asked. 😄😄 – That was Samhitha’s reply.

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.

Laughter and Smiles

Are you feeling sad,  Are you feeling low? Do you wish to fly like a bird, But can't do so? Do you wish to swim like a dolphin, But can't do it just yet? Do you wish to be free of worries, But your unbreakable bond with it is set? Are you surrounded by shadows, That smother you till you drop? Are you getting pulled into a black hole, Your worries eat you, and you can't stop? Or perhaps you're scared, Of the dark and doom surrounding you, You feel like it's closing in,   And there's nothing you can do. You're lost in a land of confusion,  Where things are tangled together, Just like your poor mind, Which is in a messy weather. But let me tell you what to do, To beat up all your worries, There's no problem that can't be undone, We'll chase it all away in a flurry. Has it been weeks, Since your lips curled into a smile? Has it been weeks,  Since you used to laugh all the while? Why, you can do it now too! Does there have to be a reason to smile? B...
