Happy Diwali

Happy Diwal! Today is diwali. Why do we celebrate diwali? In north India, they celebrate diwali because lord Rama came back from 14 years exile. And in South India......
A long time ago, there was an evil rakshasa, son of Krishna and Satya bhama, who was called Narakasura. He defeated everybody, and nobody can win a battle with him. One day, everyone rushed to lord Krishna and cried for help. Lord Krishna agreed and took Satya bhama with him. Krishna and Satya bhama finally defeated Narakasura and lived happily ever after.
And such big story, that's why we celebrate Deepavali. At evening, we do special Gubera Lakshmi Pooja. Next day we count the coins and keep them away. Nov 14th Deepavali, let's all celebrate it happily!!

  After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So Close, Yet So Far

  What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. Stars

  Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
