Time - Falling Slack

 Have you felt time 

Physically slipping away? 

You probably think you can't see 

Time change 

Transform 

Destruct what used to be. 

But I've seen.

And once I did, I felt the grip slacken 

I felt moments becoming memories 

Achievements becoming history 

Goals becoming a memorabilia 

Of the journey we took. 

Smiles fading away, 

Laughter silencing itself. 

And only the people who saw the beauty 

Can see how it crumpled today.

The changes are ever-changing, 

But change is never always only

In a single direction. 

They changed both ways 

At the same times. 

To earn something, 

Something is given up. 

The sweetest moments sacrificed 

For hopefully better times yet to come.

And for the sake of the wonderful past, 

For my sake, 

I will try to make the future as good 

And better.

Clouded

  Every night, I bring myself  To stare up at the sky -  But turn back home, with a frown on my face, Clouds blocking stars, showing wry.  Every morning, I peek out the window  To marvel at the sea above - But turn away, losing hope,  Cotton figures, masking what I love.  Every time I see the clouds,  I curse them, with all might,  They don't deserve to be up there,  Ruining the bright days and starry nights.  And one day, the clouds finally went away,  And I stargazed in much peace.  But suddenly, the sky felt a bit empty -  Although dotted by the stars, without fake fleece. Eclipsed

  Moon:  I shine every night  Though, once a month, I take a break  But I'm seen regularly,  And it's not a big deal.  Few stop by  To marvel at me.  But what about the others -  Can they even see?
