Misunderstood Moments

 Have you felt that feeling

That feeling where

You have a lot to say,

A lot to explain,

A lot to justify,

A lot to argue over,

And you do know how -

But you don’t know how to?

Or, what if, you did,

But nobody cared, nobody

Stopped to listen?

You don’t know -

To feel angry, or sad?

Frustrated, or depressed?

Annoyed, or overwhelmed?

At that moment

The moment of the flurry

Of emotions

You let it take over

And end up doing something

Stupid. Which

Lands you on more trouble

And at the end,

You give up.

See no purpose for everything,

Want to run away,

Into the dark void.

But a few moments later,

The same in you

Awakes

And gives you a better idea -

Think clearly?

And no matter how hard you try to,

Your brain cannot function -

Cannot process much more,

And so it gives in

To the sleep

That engulfs it.

And at the very end, when you

Wake up, from your whimsies,

It’s lost, in the past,

Just more memories,

And an ordinary present.

  2. Everything ends with no meaning when you are emotional . Why a human in such a state of emotion yes you can get answer if you read the Bhagavadh Gita in depth learning the meaning. I feel all children should be brought up with Krishna 's Preaching to Arjuna.
Again you make us Think with your words. Good

Behind The Mask

Behind the clouds  Is the hidden sky, so far, Behind the plasters, A nasty scar, Behind the curtains,  Are bright windows  But behind a mask - It is not for show. Not until you tumble into the trap,  Stay trapped there, in disguised gloom  Without realising it - And then go deeper and deeper  To discover what really looms. Then realisation strikes - How they behaved, how they feigned The hidden meaning behind every wave  You've found it. And the rage, You try to stifle it with much courage, But instead, burn down the page, And whoops - that leads you to your cage. But in the end, the mask is gone - To reveal an atrocity, so from it begone Don't explain, on its own will it dawn - Upon others, just the way it did on you - Ignore their every scorn. Just wait for their mask to be openly torn.

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
