Happy New Year!

To witnessing something never seen, To fulfill lasting resolutions With new poems with better sheen And a year filled with timeless fun. Looking forward to 2025, Could it feasibly  bring something new? Or will it be the monotonous dive, Into life's ocean, with no diverse hues? A torpid shade of gray should illustrate repetition, A loop in time, with no twists in between Let's hope 2025 has a new genre of fun, That's yet to be discovered, a year that sets monochrome free. Let down your guard, embrace the New Year, And carry my wishes with you Envision the best and you'll get the best out clear, And wish for your wishes to come true. 2024 was an amazing year for me. In 2024, I published 48 posts and I co-authored my first book for ,,sScholastic. And this year, I improved my poetry skills. 2024 was a decent year, with great achievements, frivolous banters, tensed quarrels but altogether a wonderful book which is part of the complete collection. Put all those books togeth...

The Sun and The Moon

The sun hid behind the rounded tops  Of the green hills that stretch across The land. Its vibrant rays peeked through the cracks  Between the consistent hills And the rays painted the sky. The sun dipped low and disappeared  Carrying away its coloured rays Along with it. The moon bobbed up Slowly and attained its greatest height  And illuminated the night sky. And it shone its heart out Quietly expressing gratitude to the more  Vibrant sun. The sun is not one who would pilfer All splendour to itself, But the sun is one who shares. The sun shines upon the moon  And its rays the moon would reflect Casting the stars into the shadows. The moon, oh does it wish  To once meet the sun to thank it In person. And oh, did the moon wonder If the sun realised just how much The moon appreciated the sun's munificence. The next day, as the sun replaced the moon, The moon took longer to set back down And took the moment - To stay with the sun  For a few br...

Nothingness

Where is it? Where is everything? Is it obscured, By the depths of my mind? Why is it pitch black? Why can't I think? I don't see a blink No flash, no flick. Is it hidden in a corner? Will everything fit there? I do not know but where, Where the entirety is. Why does it feel colossal and vast? I feel no bounds, No end I have found, Just outspread nothingness that closes in Yet doesn't. Help me,  Help me find the stray thoughts They are but not lost, They remain hidden.

Calm

Calm, In every bit of trickling water That hurries away smoothly down the river  Calm, In every leaf that detaches itself slowly From its family in its tree  Calm, In every breeze that blows peacefully  Away all the clobbering worries Calm, In every second of a sunset so slow as I think Colouring the sky orange and pink  Calm, In every photograph, a memory  Of the past with times so merry Calm, In every tender press, a calming note On the piano, a feeling that floats Calm, In every sip of cool water first That quenches your lasting thirst Calm, In every bit when you close your eyes  To fall into a haven of dreams and lies Calm, In every bit a hug wraps around you To make you feel not so blue Calm, In every ghost of laughter so gone That brings up a happy shade of a mild fawn Calm, In every sight of a smile so warm Warmth that brings sensation of calm Calm, In every syllable of the word Calm.

The Final Walk

You'll never understand, That the strong winds you blow Will be taken differently by my land, But not necessarily the same way by Different regions. However strong you rain down, The rain will be drained away soon, From my land, that is, But will it flow out of other lands? Everyday it's a new season from you, Which I may take seriously at first After which it remains behind us Then all is left is joy and laughter. But you can't keep doing this As my land needs a break from your hurricanes, Blow your storm clouds away, Let us together forget disarray. You must understand that, Until your thunderstorms stop, Every other religion will decide To take the final walk away from you. But should I wait for you to calm? Well, I'll keep moving on, But never will I put you away, Because I know that you will rejoin me One day.
