Calm,
In every bit of trickling water
That hurries away smoothly down the river
Calm,
In every leaf that detaches itself slowly
From its family in its tree
Calm,
In every breeze that blows peacefully
Away all the clobbering worries
Calm,
In every second of a sunset so slow as I think
Colouring the sky orange and pink
Calm,
In every photograph, a memory
Of the past with times so merry
Calm,
In every tender press, a calming note
On the piano, a feeling that floats
Calm,
In every sip of cool water first
That quenches your lasting thirst
Calm,
In every bit when you close your eyes
To fall into a haven of dreams and lies
Calm,
In every bit a hug wraps around you
To make you feel not so blue
Calm,
In every ghost of laughter so gone
That brings up a happy shade of a mild fawn
Calm,
In every sight of a smile so warm
Warmth that brings sensation of calm
Calm,
In every syllable of the word
Calm.
Calmness is described wonderfully iand poetically. Fine.

Beautiful da thangam!!! Your poems are becoming more and more poised by the day Kanna!! Calmness is a very important quality to have, especially in the face of a storm! The depths of waters can be seen only when the waters are calm and still! Similarly , an unperturbed mind has the capability to think straight, and come out of any problem easily!
ReplyDeleteMay the Lord Almighty help you remain calm and composed in any situation da pattu chellam!! Keep writing !!
