🎶International Music Day🎶

Hello everyone! Welcome to Shriyandhaa's Space!

Today is International Music Day. Music, as you know, is, well... Just something you hear. There are variety types music - Pop, Rock, Classical, Melodic, K-Pop, Carnatic, and much more. My favourite type is Pop. What's yours? 😃

What's your favourite song? Let me know in the comments.

Do you want to check out this exclusively peculiar and rare instruments?

Glass Armonica

A glass Armonica consists of a series of glass bowls of different sizes and the sound is produced by the player rubbing over the glass.

Theremin

The theremin is one of the earliest electronic instruments. The instrument has two metal antennas that can sense the positions of the player's hands.

That was extremely weird! And they make weird noises too.

Fun fact: Do you know, that the hardest instrument to learn is the Oboe?

As you see, the first Music Day happened on 1st October, 1975. Well, every year it is October 1st.

Well, you'll also have to mention your favourite instrument in the comments!

Hey! I have a great idea. How about we have an ELECTION?!!

Between instruments. The instrument which gets the most votes shall win. I will teach you how to play it (if I know how to play it🤭🤭). If I don't know how to play it, I will paste a link from which you can learn. All right! Now here are the candidates:

Violin

Piano (Keyboard)

Flute

Trumpet

This will be updated once a person votes:

Violin - 1

Piano (Keyboard) - 3

Flute - 1

Trumpet -

Election shall end today!

Results, tomorrow!

Ooh and don't forget about the Golu epsiode coming today!

Bye!

P.S - Remember to post your favourite type of music, song, instrument and vote

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
