 Ep. 8 - Vijayadashami



Hello everyone! Welcome back!


Today is the last day of Golu.

But the last episode is tomorrow.


On the last day of Navratri, Goddess Durga slays Mahishasura.

This day is know as Vijayadashami, and also known as Durga Puja.

The Mahishasura Mardini sloka is about Durga, slaying Mahishasura. 


On this day, we do the Maru Puja (after Puja of Saraswati Puja) and we have to read and write in the books we had kept for Puja yesterday.


It is also known that, the book we read will me registered in our mind and we will remember it lifelong.


Today, we learn new things and join new classes because today is a hugely auspicious day.


Today, we don't have any kolams, because we packed the park away. I feel so sad! 😢


Today night will be even worse - WE WILL PACK AWAY THE WHOLE GOLU!

But we can always wait for next year golu. 

On account of the celebration due to Mahishasura's death.

Long Lost Sleep

  After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP.   What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Stars

  Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
