Let's Cook for my Blog!

 Oh my blog is feeling hungry,

I need to feed it stories!

And poems oh so new,

Quizzes I have to stew!

It won't cost you a penny,

Neither a diamond!

Just a bit of imagination,

And of course, no time!

Toss on a bit of ideas,

And imagination for good taste.

Put it in a pot,

And away goes my blog's haste!

It'll love the new idea, 

It'll happily munch on the food!

Then I'll be working again,

For amazing ideas, of course!

But still, you can always cook too,

Cook up some ideas in your brain,

It'll never stop - the imagination train!

Oh my - what have I done? 

Without ideas, I've cooked up some fun!

Well, join me next time, and continue to cook,

Some funny fancy amazing book!

    Super Shriyandhaa. Took up an idea, analyse it and book it fast for cooking and make good feast with best taste. Don't be haste as it will make the idea waste but be prepared to write and paste it in your blog.

Long Lost Sleep

  After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

  What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

  Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
