Copycat

You might know My Mirror. I have written all about it. My Mirror is Shripradhaa, of course, but as she is getting older, I think the name Copycat suits her more.

Because, she mirrors me, but also copies whatever I say, or related to what I say, whether it is true or fake. It makes me feel quite embarassed.

For example, if I tell my mom/dad about what happened at school, the same thing will be recited by Shripu, with some exceptions, replacing it with her friends instead of mine.

So what I want to tell is, she is a chatterbox Copycat.

Now, I shall write as Shripu says.

1. Something bad happened at my school. My friend, Hitvi and Mithra came to school. Then, we encountered a demon!

2. One day, a horse came to school! Then a gigantic Shriyandhaa entered!

3. One day, my friend Tanushree refused to eat fruits and veggies at school. And so teacher beat her up.

4. One day, when I was small, I got hurt on my knee and got a bruise bigger than the one on Shriyandhaa's knee.....

Though Shripradhaa never went to school, she imagines these things....

And now I'm thinking that she'll not only become a writer, but a movie director!

Maybe being a Copycat isn't bad after all....

And because if watching those stupid English cartoons on TV, she adds English to her imaginations!

If you want to hear a story - recited by Shripradhaa, the future Movie Director, tell me in the comments and stay tuned in....

Oh! And what type?

Horror, funny, fantasy, adventurous....

And especially..... NON FICTION....

  2. Shriyandhaa,
All younger sisters will always copy what her elders do. Your sister shripradhaa is no exception. She admires you as a role model. Be happy for getting that post
Once she grow older shewill understand the difference. Until then please bear with her actions. Ok. It is also give you some funny moments to take your time. Enjoy with her actions and be kind to her as she is innocent.

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
