I smell everything,
From ants, to rings.
I first have to learn how they smell,
Before the person starts to sell.
One day, when my nose was awake,
I smelt this amazing smell.
It smell something like lavender,
Was that a shell, or a bell?
I was puzzled to think anymore,
So I just opened up my door,
To find out that fantastic scent,
Which probably would cost more than a cent.
Was it cake? Probably no,
For the smell I smelt was lavender so,
Are there any lavender cakes?
The one who bakes should definitely be forsaked.
Is it the spaghetti? Certainly no,
For the smell I smelt was lavender so,
Is there a lavender spaghetti?
The one who cooks might've burst like confetti.
Is it our bed? Definately no,
For the smell I smelt was lavender so.
Are there any lavender beds?
Maybe the one who washed it was a sleepy head.
Ah!!! It must be perfume,
The smell I've been awaiting!
So that was the fantastic scent which passed through my room,
It made me search, it made me roam.
Super Shriyandhaa 👍. Keep it up. Good poem.
