S Scientists - Chapter 11

 Quite a Big Mess - Chapter 11

After a while, Shreya went into to the kitchen to prepare a sweet snack. Saketh's hot flames began to rise, but he tried to hide them.

Shreya was out with a few glasses of delicious milkshakes. She served one to each of them. Before she seated herself to enjoy the shake,  she had to leave a glass for Saketh. By the look of his face, Shreya got a little afraid. She gave a worried smile and quickly placed the glass of milkshake beside him.

After they endeavoured the shake, the girls seated them selves on an armchair, while Saketh was standing up, huffing and puffing, trying to control himself from lighting the dangerous fires and flames of his. The girl began to shiver. They suddenly started to sweat. Is it because of Saketh's flames? Has the weather changed? Or is there a fire outside the resort? The girls started to quiver and shiver. Saketh's furious face tended to grow and grow, which made the girls shiver and shiver. And at last, Shreya said, "Run!" The 3 girls made a quick way to the little bedroom. Shreya shut the door, panting. "What if he accidentally breaks the door in anger?" Shreya thought, and ordered the other two to hide themselves under the blanket, while Shreya hid under the bed.

The girls started to hear screaming and other noises. Saketh lost temper. He imagined once again about the CM talking about the big mistake by the S Team, to almost everyone in Chennai. He angrily jumped on the sofa, ran about and shook his hands so wildly that he accidentally pushed over the milkshake prepared by Shreya. The sound of the glass breaking made Saketh alert. He looked around, and felt ashamed for what he had done. He didn't even think about what he was doing, and suddenly became worried.

"Where are the girls? Maybe they were hurt badly? Or maybe they left for Chennai without me?" Saketh thought. He started the hunt, and found the girls hiding in the bedroom.

"Yay! Saketh found us! Let's start the next round of hide and seek." Said Shripradhaa. Samhitha and Shreya entered the balcony, which made Shripradhaa worried. "Is something wrong?" Wondered Shripradhaa, as she followed the girls. "Can't we go back to Saketh now? I bet his anger is down," Asked Shripradhaa. Shreya said, "We can't. You know about Saketh, don't you? He may suddenly remember the thought and light the flames, and what if we get hurt? So, it's better we stay quiet for a few days, until the CM's speech is archive. So we must listen to Saketh. Shripradhaa, you must listen to him. And Samhitha, no jokes. We shall remain silent for a few days, probably until we reach home."

Meantime, the Hi Ho team was working on the last bits of the Corona Medicine, which made Saketh book the Chennai flight.

Behind The Mask

Behind the clouds  Is the hidden sky, so far, Behind the plasters, A nasty scar, Behind the curtains,  Are bright windows  But behind a mask - It is not for show. Not until you tumble into the trap,  Stay trapped there, in disguised gloom  Without realising it - And then go deeper and deeper  To discover what really looms. Then realisation strikes - How they behaved, how they feigned The hidden meaning behind every wave  You've found it. And the rage, You try to stifle it with much courage, But instead, burn down the page, And whoops - that leads you to your cage. But in the end, the mask is gone - To reveal an atrocity, so from it begone Don't explain, on its own will it dawn - Upon others, just the way it did on you - Ignore their every scorn. Just wait for their mask to be openly torn.

Clouded

Every night, I bring myself  To stare up at the sky -  But turn back home, with a frown on my face, Clouds blocking stars, showing wry.  Every morning, I peek out the window  To marvel at the sea above - But turn away, losing hope,  Cotton figures, masking what I love.  Every time I see the clouds,  I curse them, with all might,  They don't deserve to be up there,  Ruining the bright days and starry nights.  And one day, the clouds finally went away,  And I stargazed in much peace.  But suddenly, the sky felt a bit empty -  Although dotted by the stars, without fake fleece. In the mornings, the sun burnt the pavements -  And something inside me missed watching  The white shapes that merrily float past -  I didn't realise they had much meaning.  Though much couldn't be seen, they brought A wholesome feeling - that you probably can't see -  You only can, when one day,  The clouds decide t...

Eclipsed

Moon:  I shine every night  Though, once a month, I take a break  But I'm seen regularly,  And it's not a big deal.  Few stop by  To marvel at me.  But what about the others -  Can they even see? And tonight is the night  A shadow shall be cast upon me  I hope no one notices -  My brief moments without glory.  Oh, but who am I kidding?  Of course, when I'm humiliated  In the vast night sky  Just me, and an eery shadow upon me  That  That is when the humans  Choose to gaze at me.  And then, to say I am weak And I'm always overruled by  The sun, and shadows, and clouds?  That is not fair.  But the truth that the moon does not know  Is that our little downfalls  Are what define us.  They're the little things that make us  Better - Perfection isn't a thing; but realism is.  Someone who is perfect cannot be likeable - But someone with flaws has more pe...
