S Scientists - Chapter 9

Let's go! - Chapter 9

Saketh then remembered the purpose of them to catch a flight and come to Delhi.

He then sprang up and asked the others if they remembered the purpose of coming to Delhi.

They all then ran downstairs and booked an Ola Taxi to reach the Minister.

But it was 8 in the night, and they declined the taxi and planned of going tomorrow.

The next day by 11 am, an Ola Taxi picked up the team.

They soon reached the big court, where the minister had scheduled meeting with his ministers.

"But we haven't informed the minister that we are coming!" Said Samhitha, while a thought struck her mind.

Saketh then rolled his eyes and returned to the resort.

Then, he rang the minister.

And here, at the posh court, the minister's phone alarmingly rings.

"Namaste, kaun bol raha hai?" Said the minister. Saketh then spoke, "Namaste sir, this is Saketh, leader of the S Team. I have come to Delhi, and I thought of talking to you. Can we have a meeting by today 5pm?" Saketh said thinking this was enough to understand. Minister replied, "Okay Saketh, Meeting fixed for today 5," Said the minister, and finally cut the call.

The time swooped by, and Saketh booked a taxi by half past four and left for the court.

The TV was switched off, and in the news, the CM of Tamil Nadu was speaking. "I am glad to say that the S Team has officialy found the Corona Medicine, but sadly, has failed. We have tested this Medicine on a sample man but something really bad happens. The man first grew large horns, and then he grew hooves, and at last grew a tiger face."

Luckily, Saketh wasn't there to shout and stomp on hearing the news. He was happily leaving to minister's court.

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
