S Scientists - Chapter 4

Prepare for Delhi! - Chapter 4

"Finally! We are at the top place! Now we could be as we want. But work is not done, boys, we have to start cutting the trees! Without Government's knowledge," Said Hi Ho, the evil master of the Hi Ho Team.

"And if the Government discovers what we've been doing, we'll lie that we're planning to invent a new machine and we need woodwork for it! Ooh! And also, let's invent the Corona medicine, we could do it however we want to, and let's get appreciated! It's okay if it's wrong, because at first, for making it, I bet they'll give a Padmashri award! And then have it."

The S Team were really unhappy about Hi Ho's rubbish plan. " Saketh, let's plan about this later. First we have to book a flight to Delhi and talk to the minister of Delhi, corona medicine before that is better," Suggested Shreya.

"Hmm... Maybe you're right. Let's book a flight for day after tomorrow and then work on the medicine," Said Saketh.

Saketh the visited an airlines Web Page. He found an option called 'Book your flight' and pressed it. He then was asked to choose a date. He chose 18/12/21, day after tomorrow.

'Your flight has been booked. You'll receive a notification once your flight' number has been selected.' The following page read.

'Allow www.airlines.com to send notifications?' the browser asked.

"Uggh.. this silly message," Said Samhitha, quite exhausted after touring the whole house.

Saketh chose allow, as only if he allows it to he'll recieve the flight number. "Shall we pack our suitcases?" Asked Shripradhaa. Saketh nodded. "Prepare for Delhi!"

All of them started packing their colourful suitcases. Saketh took a few things to observe, his books and the tablet and laptop. Shreya took her Keyboard book, the papers in which she has noted down popular pieces and also a few books and her tablet. Samhitha took her story books and The Wonders of the World book, and even a small pink teddy bear. Shripradhaa took a milk bottle, some complan powder, a bunch of toys, story books, her white cloth and dresses.

The others' dresses were packed in a separate suitcase. Saketh marked the names on each dress.

It was 12 o' clock in the morning and they were off to sleep. Early morning, everyone woke up and left for their lab.

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
