Navratri Special - Golu Season 2 - Ep8 Saraswati Pooja

 Golu Season 2

Ep8 Saraswati Pooja

Hello! And once again welcome back to the ongoing Golu Season 2. This episode features the Saraswati Pooja Celebrations, how we should celebrate It and much more. Let's start this post with a sloka, I'm sure most of you know this.

Hello Friends! Here is the start point.

sarasvati namastubhyaṃ varade kāmarūpiṇi .

vidyārambhaṃ kariṣyāmi siddhirbhavatu me sadā ..

This Sloka is usually chanted 3 times.

Now, let's see how we should celebrate this.

Many people believe that on Saraswati Pooja, Goddess Saraswati Sits on thorns and Does Tapas. So we don't study, read books, write on any paper or any other material, we don't write, etc etc.. So, we put Manjal And Kumkum on all the studying related stuff and keep it on a Palaga. We also put Manjal And Kumkum on T.V, A.C, Fan, Cupboard, Door, etc.. After doing all this, we place Saraswati Dolls and photos on the 1st Step of the Golu and place a plate on top of the Plaga, where all the studying related objects are present. We then prepare flowers, Tulsi and other stuff and start the Pooja. You can say any Sloka or Potri While doing the Pooja. We then show the Kalpoorarti and with that, the Pooja ends.

You can prepare any Special Food like Payasam, Vada, Kesari and offer it to the Goddess. After the Pooja, you can also sing songs on Goddess Saraswati.

Now let's see how we celebrated Saraswati Pooja.

We do have millions and trillions of books, including other Sloka books. But we don't keep all of them! We keep a few, maybe 3 or 4. And I have art equipment like Faber Castel Sketch Pens, Camlin Oil Pastels, Brush Pens, Crayons, Colour Pencils, etc.. I kept Faber Castel Sketch Pens, Camlin Oil Pastels and Brush Pens. I also kept School Books, School Pouch, Mahabharata book, Dasa Avatara Book, Bhagavatam book and other story books. I also kept Shripradhaa's books. And can't forget! I kept my violin, my mom's violin and my Keyboard. Another Dozens of equipment  were placed. There were more than 20 Saraswati photos. We kept everything. We place garlands and Manjal And Kumkum on the photos and we started placing Manjal And Kumkum on the other stuff like Doors, A.C, T.Vs, etc..

The Pooja Started.

After the Pooja ended we had our breakfast.

So this is what happened on the morning of Saraswati Pooja in our house.

One more bit to share!

We also celebrate Ayutha Pooja on the Same day Of Saraswati Pooja. On Ayutha Pooja, we do Pooja for our vehicles. Shripu did Pooja for her Rocking Horse!

Thank you for reading through!

And remember to tune in by tomorrow evening for ep9!

Bye!!!!!

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
