Happy Birthday Babu Thatha!!


The day is bright,
And so much happiness outside,
Full of fun, 
Sadness is now none!
Wait a moment,
Something special,
I have no idea about it,
But with pleasure....


Happy birthday Babu thatha!
I slide down the stairs,
Then I get dressed up,
Neat and fair!
I then roam near the door,
As if I'm a guard,
And there he is,
The birthday lord!
I start writing the poem of the day!
And then go and play with grandpa!
He never compares,
And the best one who shares,
He takes me far,
And makes me a star,
His aim is a dart,
And he never is apart,
Always there as a guard!
You are the super star!
Happy, Merry, Jolly, Healthy,
Birthday!

Clouded

  Every night, I bring myself  To stare up at the sky -  But turn back home, with a frown on my face, Clouds blocking stars, showing wry.  Every morning, I peek out the window  To marvel at the sea above - But turn away, losing hope,  Cotton figures, masking what I love.  Every time I see the clouds,  I curse them, with all might,  They don't deserve to be up there,  Ruining the bright days and starry nights.  And one day, the clouds finally went away,  And I stargazed in much peace.  But suddenly, the sky felt a bit empty -  Although dotted by the stars, without fake fleece. Eclipsed

  Moon:  I shine every night  Though, once a month, I take a break  But I'm seen regularly,  And it's not a big deal.  Few stop by  To marvel at me.  But what about the others -  Can they even see?
