Happy Independence Day India!!!

 Independence Day Write-up

Happy Independence day!!Jai Hind!!!

Today is Independence day!! The day when India got its Independence....

What does Independence mean?

I just got this question from a friendπŸ‘†

Do any of you know the meaning of 'dependence'?

I think you all have looked at the sentence from your science notebook, "Animals DEPEND upon plants." Have you?

Read these sentences below:

Your sentence: She was attached to her mother.

Actual sentence: She was dependent on her mother.

Now you should have understood.

So those are the answers to your question, my friend.

I hope that these were also helpful for the others who were searching for the meaning.

So now, what do you mean by 'independent'?

When you do work by yourself, when you are not controlled by anybody and when you don't depend upon anybody.

Today is India's 75th Independence day.

The British was ruling India for many years. It was horrible! Nobody had the key to freedom. Our dearest freedom fighters tried their best, but some failed. Mahatma Gandhi's non-violence movement saved India from the British rule. India's freedom struggle was all over! India got back its independence on August 15th, 1947. It was a really pleasant day for India.

Happy Independence day India!!

Independence Day Poem

Today's a special day,

The day we learnt to be united,

We had our final say,

Against the British,

Yeah, the British,

Independent India,

Independence day,

We got freedom, hooray!

United India!

No more wars!

Victory to India!

Jai Hind, Jai Hind, Jai Hind!

Jai Hind!!!

Happy Independence day India!!

Independence Day Story

I made a story based on Gandhi. It is a simple story about Gandhi and his stick, coming alive. The stick advises Gandhi that we should fear nothing and we must be united. The stick keeps on scratching Gandhi about it. Gandhi is quite worried, but the stick will not let Gandhi rest till India brings back its freedom. The stick wants Gandhi to go get back the key to freedom from the British. Do you think Gandhi will?

Gandhi had a wise stick. Gandhi became a great freedom fighter by following the stick. One day, when Gandhi was resting under a big Banyan Tree, the stick opened its mouth and said, "We are under the British rule for years. It is horrific. The folks need our help. We need to do something. We shall not rest till freedom is brought back to India," Gandhi was tired of listening to the stick's advises. "Oh stick! You've been advising me all these years. Some have worked but some have failed. I am sure this advice of yours will fail. We don't need to cause trouble when there's already a lot going on." Gandhi said. The stick hopped and sat on Gandhi's lap. "Believe! First believe in your self before believing in everybody. Believe everybody, even if it might fail. Why don't you try? Trying is always a must. First learn all these before you murmur about the advises I gave and the advises I will be giving in the future." The stick said, jumping on Gandhi's lap. "Ouch!! Don't jump on my lap. I'm old. I always believe in myself. I do believe others, but this time, I believe that your idea might mess up India," Said Gandhi. "But what if the British rule never ends? Our life would be bad! Hmm...... Maybe, shall we leave India?"

"Leave India?!!" The stick asked furiously with rage. "You kidding? No one is gonna leave the beautiful, precious India!! How dare you!"

"Oops! That was a true mistake of mine." said Gandhi.

"If you don't trust me, and if you want to leave India, go with your idea. But still, if I'm a normal, lean stick, I'll break this nonsense British rule!" Said the stick jumping towards the village.

Gandhi would know nothing without his stick. He changed his mind and grabbed his stick. "Hey! Where are you taking me? You are nobody to me! Who is weakling not to believe in me?" The stick asked managing to get out.

"I am going to believe everybody," Said Gandhi becoming serious. "Hmm..... Will you? Your behaviour has made me disbelieve you!" The stick said going back to its peaceful state.

"Oh, yes I will! I'll push those boasting Britishers out of dear India!" Said Gandhi picking up hope. "Okay then! Follow the rules," said the stick. Gandhi did as he was told. The stick distracted the Britishers and Gandhi suddenly started pulling all the Britishers. "Hey! What are you doing?" asked one of the Britishers, and then all the Britishers shouted as the stick grinned. Gandhi then pushed all the Britishers into a large ship and sent all of them back to their home. "You got all of them?" Asked the stick, curiously. "Yes, I did. I hope they don't come back soon!" Said Gandhi, panting.

And that was a fictional story by me. You can say that this is the fictional way of how India got back its freedom. Jai Hind!!

Happy Independence day India!!

Jai Hind!!

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
