Friendship Day

 A bond which is hard to find,

But a bond which is easy to lose,

Yet a bond which is worth your time,

It's a bond which will help you through.


When your mind is in despair,

And cannot find its way back,

Your friend will pull you out of your trance,

They won't let you fall slack.


They're there to cheer you up,

With a joke which brightens your smile,

They bring back the glint in your eyes,

Take you to great lengths, thousands of miles.


They won't cost a penny,

But they're worth millions,

But to let go of them,

Might cost you billions.


Someone who you won't forget,

Someone who will ease your worries,

When you think of them,

So on this day, leave behind any queries...


Because it's Friendship Day,

Not a moment you can waste,

So go wrap your friend in a warm bear hug,

Thank them for their kindness and love.

    Super write up. Fine. Friend in deed is a friend in need. Friends always make us happy when we are sad. Their love is beyond measure and always a treasure to keep it, for it will keep us pleasure and make to vanish our pressure. No matter how old we are friends are always friends.

    Pattu chellam!! Beautifully written da kutty!!! Friendship is indeed a beautiful relationship with its foundation built on trust, love and loads and loads of fun! A good friend would always help you differentiate right from wrong , would help you clear your mind when you are in doubt , would always be on your side cheering you up when you are about to lose hope and most importantly - just as your mom does to me - should knock some sense into the friend’s head when they are being really being senseless 🤭🤭🤭!

    I hope we all find the Sarathy to Partha, the Sugriva to our Rama and the Krishna to our Sudama !
