My greatest wish EVER

My greatestestestest wish of all times, is...

For me to get an official letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry THIS August, stating that I have got admission.

Browse all you want about Hogwarts being real, but I don't think the Wizarding World is going to tell us muggles about their secrecy through Muggle Network.

I am looking forward to going to Hogwarts, alone, and probably I might be the first South Indian at Hogwarts. But, I will, of course, feel uncomfortable about the meals at Hogwarts, because I am a vegetarian. But nevertheless, I'm looking forward to Charms mainly. I know most of the Incantations, though I don't know the wand movements accurately.

I want to take part in Quidditch, and win the house cup. I want to learn as much as I can!

I can't wait to know which house I'm sorted into. I want Gryffindor, of course, but I don't think I can be in Slytherin, which is a relief, because only half-bloods and pure-bloods are in Slytherin.

I can't wait to write in quills, if they're still using them. Homework seems interesting to me, actually. I am also interested in Potions, but I don't think I'll like Transfiguration. I'll be eager for Defence Against The Dark Arts, if the teacher is someone good. I'll of course take Care for Magical Creatures in my 3rd year, and probably Divination, because I don't think Runes and Arithmancy will be easy, and I'm bored of Muggle Studies.

I really, really, really hope History of Magic will be easy. Astronomy will be pretty interesting, though I won't say very easy. Herbology, I am not much interested, but I believe it will be easy.

I'm saying 'looking forward to', am I not? But, they will get activated only after I get the letter. Please, do hope I'll get it, I'll give you crores and crores. I'll publish every detail about Hogwarts, even the ones JKR has missed out on. I promise, I promise, I promise! Give me luck!

I surely want my mother with me on the way to London. She's also good at this magic stuff, she knows a lot about the Wizarding World. She can help me into Diagon Alley, and then finally into platform 9¾. I JUST - CAN'T - WAIT!

And remember.....

WISH ME LUCK.

  1. Awww!!! I want to believe that you took my suggestion , kiddo!! Thank you for that!! ❤️❤️ interesting , if your mom makes it to Hogwarts too, you’d be the first mother - daughter duo there studying together , no? There’ve been twins , there’ve been brothers, sisters … but this would be completely new! Maybe you’d both go down in History (of Magic)!! Psst psst : I’ve been waiting for my letter too! If yours comes and you get to go , do check if mine was dropped in the Owlery!!!
Lovely write up ! And here’s all the luck that you asked for!!!

Behind The Mask

Behind the clouds  Is the hidden sky, so far, Behind the plasters, A nasty scar, Behind the curtains,  Are bright windows  But behind a mask - It is not for show. Not until you tumble into the trap,  Stay trapped there, in disguised gloom  Without realising it - And then go deeper and deeper  To discover what really looms. Then realisation strikes - How they behaved, how they feigned The hidden meaning behind every wave  You've found it. And the rage, You try to stifle it with much courage, But instead, burn down the page, And whoops - that leads you to your cage. But in the end, the mask is gone - To reveal an atrocity, so from it begone Don't explain, on its own will it dawn - Upon others, just the way it did on you - Ignore their every scorn. Just wait for their mask to be openly torn.

Clouded

Every night, I bring myself  To stare up at the sky -  But turn back home, with a frown on my face, Clouds blocking stars, showing wry.  Every morning, I peek out the window  To marvel at the sea above - But turn away, losing hope,  Cotton figures, masking what I love.  Every time I see the clouds,  I curse them, with all might,  They don't deserve to be up there,  Ruining the bright days and starry nights.  And one day, the clouds finally went away,  And I stargazed in much peace.  But suddenly, the sky felt a bit empty -  Although dotted by the stars, without fake fleece. In the mornings, the sun burnt the pavements -  And something inside me missed watching  The white shapes that merrily float past -  I didn't realise they had much meaning.  Though much couldn't be seen, they brought A wholesome feeling - that you probably can't see -  You only can, when one day,  The clouds decide t...

Eclipsed

Moon:  I shine every night  Though, once a month, I take a break  But I'm seen regularly,  And it's not a big deal.  Few stop by  To marvel at me.  But what about the others -  Can they even see? And tonight is the night  A shadow shall be cast upon me  I hope no one notices -  My brief moments without glory.  Oh, but who am I kidding?  Of course, when I'm humiliated  In the vast night sky  Just me, and an eery shadow upon me  That  That is when the humans  Choose to gaze at me.  And then, to say I am weak And I'm always overruled by  The sun, and shadows, and clouds?  That is not fair.  But the truth that the moon does not know  Is that our little downfalls  Are what define us.  They're the little things that make us  Better - Perfection isn't a thing; but realism is.  Someone who is perfect cannot be likeable - But someone with flaws has more pe...
