Anger

What is anger? Anger is an emotion.

Anger is a bad emotion. But it is good in certain circumstances. You can feel angry when you have to, meaning not very frequently but when there is no other choice. But otherwise, it will only spoil you and everyone will fear you and dislike you.

In the story of a Panchatantra tale, two brothers lived. One of the brothers was killed because of the other brother's wrath. But he didn't mean to kill his brother. So, anger leads to destruction.

When you are hungry, you are angry or hangry. And when you get angry, not only when hungry, you become brainless and do stupid things. For example, in a Panchatantra tale, a hungry and angry lion wanted to eat the friend of a fox - a tortoise.  So it instantly became brainless. So the smart fox told the lion to drop the tortoise in the water so it will become softer. Continuing to be brainless, the lion dropped the tortoise in the water and the tortoise swam away. So, anger leads to you being outsmarted.

Ways to prevent anger:

  • Don't feel stressed (you get angry when you're stressed)
  • Eat food 3 times a day (you get angry when you're hungry)
  • Don't be sensitive (you get angry when you're sensitive)
  • Don't roam around with a grudge (you get angry when you have a grudge)

(This is also a note to self 🤭)

  2. Excellent article. An unfulfilled wish or desire leads to frustration. This causes anger. So if your wish or desire is correct, God bless you and the wish or desire is fulfilled. If that is not fulfilled, God has His own plan to bless you. Perhaps God make to have more good things to happen 😉

Long Lost Sleep

After a long, exhausting day, the only thing all of us look forward to is SLEEP. So, as soon as you finish off the last crumbs on your dinner plate, you fling yourself onto your bed, rest yourself in a comfortable position, get your pillow nice and fluffed up, and throw the blankets on yourself. But then... You just realised that you still have your big, wobbly earrings on. So you throw back the blankets and remove your earrings and leave them in their box. And then you're back in your bed, and just as your eyelids are about to close... You realise that you haven't brushed your teeth. So, yet again, your throw back the blankets and get off the bed, letting the annoying, creaky sound fill your head. And then you throw open the door to your bathroom, get your brush ready and squeeze toothpaste onto it, but... The tube seemed to have a hole on the back, which you sadly hadn't noticed. And you get toothpaste all over your hands. Fuming, you wash your hands and get things done...

So Close, Yet So Far

What you knew you had right beside you What you never knew might leave you What you had neglected for days What you wished was still there, within your gaze. That miniscule amount of hope  That you feel lingering close by You could open out your arms, embrace it, But suddenly it's high in the sky. Once within your grasp, But now away from you, Don't waste a moment on a wee gasp, Time won't stop, and the moving hope too. Each moment is to be caught, Each memory to be cherished, Hold them carefully in your arms, Before they shall vanish. The consistent inkling when you feel, Something close, yet so far, Is only because you know yourself, That it is within your grasp, but not within your confidence. If you're positive enough that you can hold it, The 'it' that is mysterious and something only you know, You can hold the precious 'it', Clutch it tight, don't let it go. You must be close to the end of the day, With its cliffs and slopes and Rocky slides,...

Stars

Shining in the vast night sky, I see them from afar. Dominated by the brighter moon, There glimmer the stars. Mostly hidden by the cruel shadows, Or by the thick, misty clouds. But they do not give up, they still glimmer on, They make their voice be heard loud. Even though they're hardly seen, Even though they're hardly thought of, They know that someday they will be, Thought of, honoured and loved. So take an inspiration from stars, Show your true essence, Continue to shimmer, ignore the darkness, Because one day it'll fear your presence.
