Ep. 1 - It's here!
Hello everyone! Welcome, welcome, welcome... Welcome! It's here! It's finally here!
But what's here? Oh, silly me! It's Navratri!
Navratri is an amazing time you can't tend to miss. We only celebrate it once a year. So let's enjoy every bit of Navratri which falls in our hands!
Navratri has totally 9 days - 3 for Durga, 3 for Lakshmi and 3 for Saraswati.
Today I will just give a small tour of our Golu dolls. You see, the steps are as same as last year, so no explaining needed, am I right? So, I will explain the park. It is the only thing which is different from last year. And, it has also increased in size and beauty. Picture for reference :
Remember, if you click on the picture, you can nicely zoom and see. To zoom, just do this:
As you see, the doll in the pink dress is just for a smidge of beauty. And next to her - the "Theru". It is called a Chariot in English. But it is no ordinary chariot, it is the chariot in which our Hindu God will sit in. By the grass, if you see, there are a few vehicles. And below the Chariot is just a small city - there is Tin Tin, and infront of him is just a carousel. And there is a small house. And there's another carousel. And near that is a house-shaped castle. I bet the princess in there also celebrates Navratri! And there is a good old troll, thinking of buying Navratri dolls. Then there's also a slide to play in! And the road, our favourite Peppa Pig riding her favourite red car, and a fast and cool Hotwheels car! Then we have a red car, and Peppa Pig 's brother, George Pig, riding a turquoise car. And the road ends there, but I don't know where George is going!
Next to the road, the city continues. There is the pig family near their house. Mummy pig, daddy pig... Wait, there is another Peppa! Then who's the Peppa driving the car?
The pig family owns a slide and a dog too. And in front of their house is a cute pink house. And there's a green eco-friendly house, where Anna and her sister, Elsa live. Looks like their friend has come over! They own a slide similiar to the pig family's.
Then the toy doctor, Doc McStuffins lives infront of them. She lives in a hut. She has a pet squirrel too.
There is an even bigger city! But, what's that behind the city?
Oh! That is the great Gajendra Moksham. It happened many years ago. Looks like It's happening again! Visit one of my other episodes, which will be posted soon, to learn the story of the Gajendra Moksham.
And back to the city - there is a little cute blue elephant, who is standing behind a red house. Wow, so luxurious! Looks like Barbie and her friends live there. And infront of that - looks like there's an activity corner. Minnie Mouse and her best friends are working there.
Look at the cute little zoo! It has ma y cute animals. Such colourful flower pots. Oh - and next to it, are those pebbles? Nice! And behind it, there are two happy people making their way to the MINI GOLU. It's the place where there are mini steps and mini dolls on them. And behind it we have Hello Kitty and Sven's cute lighthouse.
Just next to them, is the Thirumala, a hill where God Venkatesha resides. Ooh! Looks like Sofia is holding a tea party by the hill! And if you see, there is a man climbing the steps of the hill.
Near the steps, below the hill, there is a place where Krishna is. And there is also a small pond where a few animals are bathing. And there is God Venkatesha again.
Back to the hill. There is Venkatesha. Looks like a girl is interested in a visit. And there's a herd of elephants. And behind them is God Guruvayurappan and a temple.
And yum! Below the hill, for devotees, in case they're hungry, there's a café where they can eat! And a little elephant seems interested, too!
Wow! Such interesting things happening in this area.
All right! Explanation over! And we shall come to a close after exploring the new things added to my steps.
Nothing but a lotus, which is just below the steps. It lights up when put it water. And check out today's Kolam:
Isn't it nice? My mother made it.
That's it everyone! Hope you enjoyed this episode!
Come back tomorrow for more episodes!
Bye!
Happy Navratri!
