Meeting God - Golu (Day 6)

In the beautiful country India, there lived a man named Krishna. He was a devotee of the lord. He used to do pooja in the temple. One day he had a lot of work to do. But he only did few of them. It was late so he didn't do pooja. Instead he went to the Krishna temple ground and meditated. Lord Krishna appeared near his eyes. His eyes filled with tears of joy! Krishna granted his wishes. Then everyday, when he did pooja, he could meet Lord Krishna.  🙏🙏

Golu (Day 5)

This year we are having a safe Navratri due to the Corona. Too boring know. No one invites us and we also invite nobody. Only the yummy sundals and watching the dolls make us relaxed and happy. The new normal is boring. Oh! And I forgot to share something with you. Today is Mahalakshmi's 2nd day. Now, I have a question. Do you all like this year's Navratri? Well, ok to me. But it's really, really special on Saraswati Puja and on Vijayadashmi this year for me! So exciting! You'll know why on those days. Eeeeeek! I can't wait!! Happy Navratri!!!!

Golu (Day 2)

Hi! Today is Navaratri's 2nd day. A lot to know about Navaratri! The first three days of Navratri belong to Durga devi. Next Lakshmi and finally Saraswati. The last two days are Saraswathi pooja and Vijaydashmi.  Today, we made black eyed beans sundal and yesterday we made special maav. We sang a lot of songs like Aigiri Nandini, Vara veena, Bavani shankari, Karunai deivame and Shyamale meenakshi. At the end of the day, we take a special aarthi. Yesterday I did it with amma and today I did it with patti. I took the aarthi first and Shripradhaa took the aarthi second. Happy Navratri!!🙏🙏

Golu (Day 1)

Happy Navratri! Navratri is the day when we assemble the dolls of gods. Today is the day when we get our stairs ready and we'll keep our dolls on the stairs. My favourite doll is the Tanjavur bommai or the Tallai atti bommai. My father and mother took care of the stairs and the dolls which are on them and I got the park ready. My park has a café and a little girl inside it watching the beautiful flowers bloom. A boy is standing there too. Next to it is a small zoo. A car is parked in front of it and Tin Tin watched the animals. Behind is a simple house and next to it is a Lego house. Behind, a gopuram and a small Srinivasa in front of it. Two girls praying to God and next to it is another simple house. And finally, this part by my mom. She kept an ever silver cup upside down and she put artificial grass on it. She kept lord Srinivasa on it. And a finishing touch by my dad. He connected three lights to two plug points. And when he switched the lights on, what a beautiful Golu!! Hap...

Stars

I really love stars. But I wish I could catch one of them. I can't reach. Stars are magical and playful. Stars have one brother, which is the moon! Oh, I wish to get a star buddy. But my chance never came. Maybe when I am big I'll become an astronaut and I'll fly on my rocket and I'll get a star.

The Odd Balloon

I am in my garden Holding some balloons The sky is pink right now And it's the time for the sun to go I could see a balloon Looking very odd And if I go inside It hits the rod  I ask, "Are you mad? Or are you very glad? Or are you so sad? Oh come on! Tell me lad!" I'm done with it  So I'll let it go Because it is very, Very mad so!!🎈🎈

The Moon

A little girl was on a swing Trying to catch the moon That's when the butterfly, Popped out of her cacoon "You can never catch the moon, As it is so high." Said the little butterfly When the brown owl came to speak, She was a little shy "Hooty hoot!" Said the owl As she finished her meal which was in a bowl "The moon looks like it's near, but it is not." The owl was telling lies, The girl thought The girl stared at the moon, When owl went back into her nest And the butterfly went back into her house, And into her room They all heard a voice which said, "I'll be coming soon!" It was the moon!!

Zebra Board

It is a board. But you can't surf on it. It's black and white in colour. This board makes sounds. It has keys, but we can't unlock a door with them. You shouldn't bang it or it'll not make sounds. I call it the zebra board. The black board teaches us subjects, but this board is different. It teaches us music.  DO YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT?                                               IT'S A KEY BOARD! THE INSTRUMENT!!🎹🎹

Gandi Jayanthi

Happy Gandhi Jayanthi! Gandhi Jayanthi is famous all over India. Mahathma Gandhi is the father of our nation. It's his birthday today. He fought for India's freedom. He never told lies and he never got angry. I'll tell you a story.  Once when Gandhi was studying in school, he had a suprise spelling test. The inspector asked him the spelling of "kettle". Gandhi didn't know the answer. His teacher tried to help but Gandhi did not let her. He told the wrong spelling but got 1st rank for not telling lies. Try not to get angry and try not to tell lies. Be good like Gandhi.🙏🙏
